Why I drove to work today.

Every morning at 7:20 on The Valley Wolf, we run the Yellowhead Road & Bridge Road report, where we let you know about all the current road conditions and hope you get to where you're going safely.  Many thanks to Kent and Mike for coming on with me at 7:20am.  Thhis morning, I got chided a bit by Mike for walking to work on Monday.  "A good way to get frostbite," Mike told me.  And he's right. it got to -37 &  My nose got so cold that I thought I'd have to call for an Ambulance on the air because I thought my nose was going to fall off.  I'd look like a ginger Micheal Jackson.  

But that's not all that happened on my way to work yesterday.  I also ran into a bit of trouble.  Luckily, I had an entire film crew with me to catch the moment on video. Check it out:

Luckily I had all that remedial lightsabre training at Mos Eisley before I came up to Vanderhoof!  

You can see why I chose to drive this morning.  

Bundle up put there.  These -35 to -40 degree temps last another few days.
