The Great Grammy Performances!

After watching the 54th Annual Grammy Awards last night, I came away with a few thoughts on the state of Music.  First off, I have to say that I am OUTRAGED that a man like Chris Brown was even allowed to perform last night, let alone win an award.  Just 2 years ago, that man was arrested for severly beating Riahnna just before the 2009 Grammy's and the dumbasses who organized the even thought it okay to forgive him and let him on-stage.  Not cool.  

 

But that didn't take away from the great performances that were showcased.   All the stand-outs are right here on this blog, but I have to say, I enjoyed the Tribute to Glen Campbell.  It was quite touching and a lot of fun to boot.  The Band Perry and Blake Shelton (my new man crush) did a great job, and Glen sounded better than ever! Nice work!  

Other stand-outs included Bruno Mars opening the show and Adele's first performance in 5 months after vocal cord surgery! They may not be country, but if you love music, it's worth checking out!
